17 3.5 eco 10 speed
#11
I've got close to 300 miles on it, at first the shifts were a little rough occasionly. But the more I've drove it they have smoothed out a lot. I expect it to get even better the more I drive it. Overall I'm really impressed with the engine and transmission, it's really impressive. The mpg so far is great this tank is showing 21.5 mostly highway, I know the display isn't exactly accurate. It's really powerful it puts the 1st gen 3.5 eco to shame on my opinion.
I've seen a few guys report that the shifting is perfect by the time you put a 1000 miles on the 10 speed

I've got a 17 3.5 with a 10 speed . I absolutely love it !!! And for a truck it's not a lariet or platinum it's prety well laid out !!! I dislike auto start stop and my luck the button on the dash won't work to disable it and or the light won't come on and it works occasionally . So to the stealership I go tomorrow . My 3rd new f150 since 2005 . I'm taking it back to the dealer with 300 miles and a week old . Unexceptsble for a 50k vehicle . I'm really disappointed but I understand things happen

Didn't think about the lightning. I guess I was trying to think of any trucks still in production being faster in stock form. Considering the specs I think it could be a good race between the two.

Great looking truck, post some interior shots! I'm on the fence between GMC and Ford, and keep going back to the F150...just wish the high scale trucks didn't have the console shifter that takes up the whole console...and it drives me nuts that you can spend a lot on an XLT and won't have climate control
