Default $12 storage area in bed

Walmart has these crates on clearance for $3 each. I picked up a bunch of them for storage in the house, then decided I could use these in the back of my truck.
As you can see in the picture there is a total of four crates. The two on the left are zip tied together and the two on the right are zip tied together. So if I need to remove two of them I can do so without removing all four.
The reason for these crates is if I want to put something in the back of my truck that I don't want to roll around (gas can, groceries, ice, propane tank, etc)

just out of curiosity, what's holding the crates securely in place in the bed, keeping THEM from moving around?

What the spray in bedliner they really don't move around too much. If it gets to be annoying I could always run a bungee cord from side wall to side wall to secure the crates from moving anywhere.

What about the box on the far left? What's that and where'd it come from?

Here.. I had it for other reasons, but wanted to use it like the bins. Unfortunately the bins worked out better

Actually, I was referring to the one with the lid and looks like it is water resistant.
