Default 11in drop hitch

I needed anther drop hitch to pull a little 6x8 utility trailer so I got bored at work a welded one up, what do you think

got to love the tig welder and free steel


i thought about leaving it on the everyday to stop the ricers going under all the way.

That's a good job! I have a mig welder and my welding sucks at best...lol. It would have been cool if you could have left a space where it comes straight out to stick another brake light so people wouldn't run into it. Like a 3'd brake light that is made to stick into a hitch. Just an idea.

im actually thinking about making another one with a rear veiw camera in the down tube so i can actually see it when backing up

i hit it with a rattle can primer but im going to take it to my buddy on tuesday and have him powder coat it

Default The Test

We tested it out today..... i chained the front of my truck to a 26ft box truck with about 15k in the back. Them we hooked up my buddys f350 dually with a 15k warnwinch with a ****** blockhooked back on the f350 to the drop hitch. the winch was dragging my lil f150 and the box truck by the hitch so i think it should be rated just a LITTLE OVER 6000lbs....LOL
