They haven't really said much. I was clearly having problems with power steering, so I brought it in under the context that there was a leak. They simply told me that it was in the air conditioning condenser. AC seems to have been working fine . . . even in the Texas heat.

that's two separate systems. the dealer flunkie was probably looking at someone else's paperwork when they talked to you. you need to call them back and have them clarify your issue.

I agree with the above, something isn't right here. If you have a power steering leak in the condensor then that would be a first, lol.
Is there a trans cooler on the truck? It could be a leak near the AC condensor and the guy is reading it wrong. But either way, I don't see how the 3/36 bumper to bumper wouldn't cover whatever the problem is.

Sadly, I am one of the least technical people when it comes to vehicles. If you stick a computer or gun in front of me, I can do whatever it is you'd like.
The good news is that Ford has been in contact with the dealership and, as of this morning, they're "working something out" . . . So, hopefully something will get worked out.
In worst case, I did send the quote I received from this dealership to another dealership . . . They beat the price by about $350.

don't let them touch your A/C if it's working. you're going to end up with more problems, the original issue not fixed, and cash out of pocket if you let them continue with this screwup.

I agree. Ask them EXACTLY what the issue is and post up here what they say. If they says there's a.power steering leak in the condensor then get your truck away from them as quickly as possible.

Oh, I see said the blind man!! LOL.
How about this?
If the dealer had simply said that your power steering cooler is integral to the a/c condenser assembly, and it is leaking, we could have saved a lot of speculation.
Good idea about shopping around for a better price. Use your phone.
BTW, that is out of the 2010 Shop Manual DVD.
How about this?
A/C Condenser/Power Steering Combo Cooler
The A/C condenser/power steering combo cooler is an aluminum fin-and-tube design heat exchanger located in front of the vehicle radiator. It cools compressed refrigerant gas by allowing air to pass over fins and tubes to extract heat and by condensing gas to liquid refrigerant as it is cooled.
The receiver/drier is incorporated onto the LH side of the condenser core. The receiver/drier cartridge is a separate component and can be removed and installed separately from the condenser core.
The top portion of the condenser/power steering combo cooler is partitioned from the refrigerant system and is used for power steering fluid cooling.
