IF you rid of all the chrome junk, they are actually good looking trucks.... I get all kinds of compliments on mine...
Although I will say that they have the absolute worst paint IN THE WORLD... You look at it the wrong way, it'll scratch, chip, swirl...etc...
As far as frame goes, despite what you've seen in those videos.. My Tundra rides, hauls a bed-full, and a heavily loaded trailer better than my old man's F150(09)... It does however suck a major butt to pull a dry trailer.... Not sure why, other than it needs a tongue heavy trailer... But it sure does bounce inside the cab, when compared to his F150...
Just to be fair though....
I own a 08 Tundra 4x4 with tow package(4:30 gearing with tranny cooler).... 22" wheels wrapped in 285/45
My old man owns a 09 Platinum 4x2, and do not believe he has any towing package<-- although he does have a tow/haul button??? Stock Platinum wheels/tires???
