Default Intermittent Crank No Start

Having a problem with my 2001 F150 5.4L. The truck is having an intermittent crank no start issue. So times the truck will start right up other times it will just sit there and crank crank crank. I have noticed that if I hear the fuel pump prime the truck will start right up, but the times that it doesn't prime the truck just cranks. Once started the truck runs great. I have replace the relay and fuse and thinking it might be wiring or ignition or something like that being that the truck runs normal. Any help would be great.

I've heard of wiring corroding (or otherwise coming loose) from the underside of the fuse box; you might pull it out and see if there are any loose connections.
