Default 06 F150 LIFT Q's

I'm sure there are many posts asking the same questions. Id like to start with by stating that I am slowy reviewing some of the other threads regarding this same subject. I am currently deployed (12/2013) and dont have the time to scan and am hoping this thread will make things easier for me.

ON TO THE QUESTION!

I have a 2006 F150, 5.4 Triton 4x4 and am looking into a 4in lift. I would say 60% of the time she is on pavement going to work and the other 40% she is on gravel or dirt for fishing or hunting etc. so I hope this gives you and idea of what I put her through. My current ground clearance isnt to bad, but when mud and snow gets to deep it gets rough. To be honest there is a part of me that just wants her to look good too.

I'm looking for sugestions on what would be a good brand i guess you could say, what size tires and wheels I should be able to go to and if possible any pictures of other F150s with a 4in lift. Also, If there is anything I will require outside of the kit itself other than a shop. Links are welcome.

If you need any info feel free to post and Thank you for checking this out and I look forward to any replies!

I would look to go 6 inch I thought 4 at first as well . For just a little more in most cases the extra 2 inchs you get is worth it . I went with a Fab Tech 6 inch , in the front 4 inch in the rear . I also spent the extra buck and did the Fab Tech front coil overs . What a differance they make , corners awesome either in 2x4 or 4x4 .

And by the way thanks for your service brother your sacrifice is humbling .
