Who's lifted their 6.2 superduty
 

Looking for a lift for my 2012 super duty gasser. Who's lifted one what size did you choose are you happy with the outcome. I also have a 2012 f150 with 6 inch lift with 35s not too much height difference ground clearance wise between it and the stock super duty but bigger is better and dryer in my swampy part of town.

I'm also very interested to know about this. I'm ordering a 2016 F350 6.2 here in a few months and I was thinking of lifting it for at least 37s.

I'm ordering it with 4.30 gears so that should help me personally.

Superdutys just don't look right with those stock tires.

No they sure don't. All I want is 35s so that will probably be a 4 inch lift would love to do a 6 inch but then I'd have to regear not that it's difficult to do I'm just starting to get lazy as I get older. 35s on a six inch lift would look silly I'd imagine.

I agree, too much lift with not enough tire looks terrible. Re gearing does seem to take some time and effort. That's why i planned to order with 4.30

looks like my options have slightly changed. Looking to finish a deal tonight on a 2014 F250 king ranch FX4 6.7L in Kodiak Brown. Hard deal to pass when it only has 33k miles on it. :eek: Just wish it was a 2015 so the interior was dark brown.

I just did a level kit and f350 blocks. So lifted my F250 2" and running 35/12.50/20 Mastercraft MXT. To me its a nice stance. I came from a 2011 4" F150 and 35s. Te thing is the stock 20" superduty tires are 34" tall. So you can run a 35 stock.

I noticed this the other day. So if/when I decide to lift it I'm going to run probably 40s just to feel like I've done something. That's quite a while down the road though.

Be careful, I have read that the front driveshaft hits the exhaust after lifting a certain amount, I think it was anything more than 4" but I'm not 100% on that.

Do you have pics??. I have a 2012 fx4 f150 on six inches of lift on 35x12.5/20 those tires rub when turning to almost full kick off road with the body roll of the truck. My f250 has the 17 inch wheels with tires that equal 30.5 inches tall. It's just a basic xlt manual shift 4x4. I prefer the wider stance on a truck. But I also need the lift for clearance as my farm is half under water a lot of times in places two feet deep which in return it gets soft and mucky. The f150 goes right through it quite well but I needed more truck for hauling trailers of hay and cows. A 4 inch lift on the f250 will cause the front drive shaft to rub the cat. From what I can find is to either loosen the exhaust and shift the cat over or add pipe to reroute it over a bit. What size are the f350 rear blocks? I thought with a 2 inch lift you'd need to use a 4 inch block in rear to maintain level? I'm also going to add dual steering stabilizers and regear to 4.30 with Detroit lockers. Doing the work on the truck is no big deal I have a 4 bay shop with lifts that we build mega mud trucks in on the side. I've even thought of 4 linking my super duty.

I had 35's on my 6.7 f350. The stock tires are pretty close to a 35, they're like a 34 already so.

4 inch and 37's is the best lift combo. 4.30's are a fine ratio for a set of 37's
