Default What would you do?

We are at a loss here as to what to do. We sold my aunts 5th wheel so on the way down to where we needed to take it we discovered 4 out of 6 tires are bad. So we go to les-schwab and get the new tires. They call us up and say everything is all ready to go, so we go up and pay for the tires and we get in the truck and we are on our way- sort of. We didn't even move an inch and this happens.

We didn't get out of les-schwab, infact we where still in the bay area where they put the tires on. I don't think the trailer even moved. My uncle says "it is like someone pulled the pin". Would you try to go after les-schwab or consider it a loss?

Did you check the pin before pulling away? Imo you don't have a leg to stand on because it didn't happen on their watch

I have no idea what he did or didn't do, I was inside with my dad paying for the tires. I'm just wandering if it could be on them beings that we didn't get an inch before this happened.

I'd steal the trailer too lol. We talked to Les-schwab about it today, they aren't going to do anything about it. It is amazing they say they do these "pre-trip safety checks" to make sure you have a safe trip, yet it didn't work out too good here lol. We told them we where taking it down to Tacoma to sell it (~60 mile drive). I know if we take it to insurance they will total the truck out, so I guess we got screwed. Should have checked the pin, but they should have never pulled it.

Rule #2 always check your pin before you leave. I hate go say it man but its whoever drove off's responsibility to check proper trailer attachment. What if it ripped off on the interstate?
