Upgrade 150 to 250 for TT towing?
#11
Just thought i'd update - towed my TT just under 200 miles last weekend and it towed great! I drove on the same roads before and it was a night and day difference. Whenever the trailer caught a gust of wind the truck stayed planted - major improvement over my 150.

I understand your dilema. I've been there. My last truck was a 2014 F150 screw with the 6.2 motor and 3.73 gears. I also towed a 30 foot trailer. I had the airbags for sag. Always had the white knuckles when towing. Truck was T boned when I was towing. Replaced the truck with a '16 F250 6.2 Screw with 3.73s. No more white knuckels when towing. 100% improved towing. I get on average about 1 mile to the gallon less with the 250. Thats better than I hoped for with a truck that weighs in at about 1000 pounds heavier. I dont even miss the smoother ride. Never looked back.
