Default New Trailer Pics

Well I finally got to pick up the trailer yesterday. Unfortunately its been very rainy and muddy up here so the truck was dirty. As you can see in the pics its a very large trailer. The OAL is 42ft, dry weight is 12982 pounds and GVWR is right at 20k. The trailer tows very well, tracking even better than our previous 04 Sooner. The dual Hydraulic Jacks are nice too. It does bounce a bit empty, but that is to be expected running on 8k axles and 17.5 inch H rated truck tires at 125psi.

I am actually looking at a cushioned coupler for this trailer. Since we plan to sometimes use it just to camp without horses, the cushion when towing empty might be nice. They run about 500 bucks but should make for a more comfortable empty tow. I have never tried one, but the reviews seem good.

Great looking trailer...axles look like they're set back a good bit to probably handle the weight properly.

The axles are indeed pretty far back. They make it tow very well loaded, and a bit rough empty. With only one horse aboard the trailer towed very nice, cant wait to load it up more this weekend and see how it does.

Looks like the trailer has a decent size living area with a slideout. The horses need a smooth ride so I guess with the rear loaded with them ought to smooth things out.
