I have a friend at work that wants to swap his 26 to the larger tank. He has a 12 Crew Cab Short bed. What are you trying to do? I actually looked at every 250 on the lot and all had 26 tanks. There also wasn't any long beds there either.

I have a F350 with the long bed and its the 36+ tank. I am unsure if there is an obstruction in the shorter bed preventing the 36 gallon tank from fitting.

He can order a titan tank I believe that they are 55 gallons and they retain all most all the stock parts.

I have a midship replacement made by transfer flow. No issues in 2 years. It directly replaces the stock 26gallon. Long beds have a 36. Cab and chassis trucks can order a 50+ now too.
