Default Regular, HD, SD?

I'm trying to buy a Haynes manual for my 1998 F-250. How does one determine if it's a HD, SD or just a regular F-250? Plus, what would make it a super cab?
It's badged as a F250 XLT. I'm pretty sure of the answer, but want to confirm, before ordering.

Thanks

I could be wrong but the 97 and 98 models of the f 250 were the heavy duty. Referring to the fact that it was more capable than the f 150 but still had the same body style as it was caught in limbo those years the 99 to present is the super duty, the heavier looking redesign frames different and so on. Hope that helps

Also I believe a regular f 250 would have coil springs in front. Where as a heavy duty would have leafs in front, giving it a higher payload and so forth

98 f250 would have been based off a F150. 97 was the last year for the Heavy duty as far as i am aware.

97 Old Body Style = Heavy Duty
97 - 99 New body style (f150) is 250ld light duty
99 and up square front 250= Superduty.
