I have a 1995 f250 4x4 7.3l. The engine gas excessive blowby and will need a rebuild in a year. And I Do not have the tools to rebuild or replace the engine. So my big question is would it be cheaper to pay someone to rebuild it or buy a new one and pay someone to put it in?

 

the cheapst thing would be find a good donor motor and pay someone to swap them out.

 

Oo ok thank you I'm starting to price stuff out do you know how much it generally costs for a rebuild?

 

you can find a pullout with lower miles for around 3 grand, rebuild is 6.
