hello everyone, i recently purchased a 2006 f250 5.4l 6speed. The truck only has 75k miles and seems to run well. I have a abs light and engine light on. I checked the codes with a scanner and forscan i get some abs codes for a wheele speed sensor no big deal and i get a po340 and po344 for the camshaft position sensor on bank one. For the $20 i tossed a new snesor in that did not help, the wires in the back of the plug look ok dont see any issues. if i clear the code it comes back with 2 key cycles. ive tried unplugging the solenoid for it and that didnt change anything either then throwing a code for that so i plugged it back in. the engine has typical valve train sound or injector sounds but don't sound bad or loud like a bad cam phaser. ive tired everything i can think of dose anyone have any idea what the issue could be? could it be a failing phaser with that milage? and the truck still sound and run good? could the vct solenoid cause the po340? dosent seem like it would but im very unsure on all this any help would be greatly appreciated. i really didnt want to wrestle the passenger side valve cover off just to see what it looked like.
