This is the one I was talking about. Actually got looking at it. Think it is gas my bad. Still a good looking truck.

Not to bring an old post back from the dead but I was at Piedmont Dragway for the diesel truck drag races and pulls the other weekend and I saw a new 6.7L on the dyno with the DEF delete...it was straight 5 inch exhaust the whole way back with a nice 6 inch tip and that hog sounded bad ***! You definitely need a tuner to run it with the DEF delete, but for a truck with nothing but straight pipes and a tuner it was pumping out almost 500hp and 600ft-lbs. I'm a lot more interested in them knowing that deletes for all that emissions stuff exists

Correction, it was 800ft.-lbs. but the horsepower was high 400's with the tune, and exhaust with DEF delete..but when it comes to a diesel torque is everything..

Yea, I'm thinking real hard about puttin an h&s with all the deletes on my 2011 6.7... It has about 70k miles on it so I'm not worried about warranty much anymore, just not sure I want to pay out of pocket for anything to break on it. I haven't had a single problem with it yet.

that's good to hear, i think when i buy one (its not an if anymore lol) i'll leave the motor bone stock..these things are putting out impressive numbers from the factory and why mess with a good thing? the deletes would be nice down the road but i agree with you, diesel components aren't cheap

The tunes aren't cranking out the 700+ hp and 1150 ft/lbs tq that they see from the 6.4. The only reason to tune a 6.7 right now would be to eliminate the egr, and delete the Def and DPF. But it's turning out to be a quite reliable motor so I don't see the necessity for any deletes. I agree "don't mess with a good thing"

The reason the 6.4 could push those numbers was because they already had 2 turbos. The 6.7s are around 500rwhp with an h&s or spartan tune, intake and exhaust with a dpf,egr and muffler delete. For a 6.7 to hit the numbers the 6.4 could your gonna need fuel mods.
