Normal clear thinker-Having one heck of a time deciding

These are the fun kinda decisions to have I think! I sold my 2015 F150 Platinum and bought a 2015 F250 Platinum 6.7L instead. It's my daily driver. I do a ton of long distance commuting and rarely tow anything.
My F150 was a fantastic vehicle. But I missed the feeling of a bigger truck. So for me...I'm really happy with my decision to go with the F250. With that said, the F150 interior was lots nicer IMO and backseat of the F150 is larger for sure. I also miss the large fuel tank I had on the F150. But in the end, I think the only thing I would have done differently is gone with a King Ranch, in either model. The Platinum is super nice of course...But the KR suites my taste a little better. I just couldn't find one at the time. Love my SD!

I went from a Government Motors CCSB 1500 to a F2fiddy. The 2fiddy is the best vehicle I've ever had, and at last count that was over 40. Like you, I was a bigger guy...5'11" @ 300lbs. I felt cooped up in the 1500. The 2fiddy was juuuust right. Then I went and had gastric sleeve and dropped 100lbs. Now I feel like a little kid....almost too much room. Anyway, I DD the 2fiddy at the moment. Gonna sell it soon since I don't need it for work any more. I picked up a '93 Flareside. I'd recommend going with the 150 if you don't need the towing, and take the $$ you save and put it toward losing the weight and getting healthy for your kids
I am actually 6'4' 275. How about that? Grew a foot in 4 days.
I'm no speedo model, but thats just a touch different.

Boy...So much help here! I really read and took everyones advice to heart. And then totally ignored the consensus....She's been mine since Friday, and quite honestly, so far, am completely in love. Its just got that " hey f$%ckers, look at this bad boy" thing going on. The interior is gorgeous...The platinum grill, to me, is perfection.
Does it ride stiffer? Sure it does, but its still nice. Has my wife commented on it? You bet. Maybe next time i announce i'm buying a new truck, she'll come along when I ask her. She'll get used to it.
I expect i'll put some of those fancy 9000xl shocks on there, dial them down, and ill be done with it. It'll help a little. Amp research bed extender ( divider in my case) and a set of X-acto husky mats on the way.
Did I mention that my freshman daughter thinks its the blingiest coolest thing she's ever seen, and my 12 year old son now has new motivation to keep his grades where they need to be in order to get this as his own in 5 years?
The F150 really is nice. But it felt like a toy to me ( i know it isn't ). I felt like I might as well be driving a lexus crossover for my uses. This is a truck. I am 6'4' and have to pull myself up into it. If I wanted plush, i'd have bought a new Burb or Yukon xl.
A real statement truck was what I was after, thats what i got. If I change my mind a couple of years down the road, so be it. But for now, I didn't want to be gassing up next to one wishing thats what I would have bought. Its been a long time since I went out to my vehicle and went for a drive " just because". The Burb platform is absolutely awesome. But inspiring isn't the word i'd use.
She's large and in charge. I love it...

Awesome truck. Have you considered a CNG conversion on it?
Last job I had, we had a CCLB DRW F350 with a CNG kit. Could drive roughly 200 miles with our loaded up work truck on the 18 gallon CNG tank. Sure, doesn't seem like awesome milage... but the government rebates on getting the kit and the pumping station is nice, plus the cheap costs of fueling it yourself at home would be perfect! Boss man said he was paying roughly $7-10 a day for us to drive the truck around. Power was still very nice aswell.
