Default No one talks about the new 6.2. Why?

Diesels being the lion's share of HD trucks, but why no discussion about the gasser?
Anyone seen some shootouts Vs the competition? It's murdering the others.
By far the fastest, and is downright quick running a 14.7@96mph. That's smokin for a truck that big. Also, it gets the best mpg.
Ford also built a gas designated transmission, as opposed to it sharing the same trans with the diesel, in years past, and suffering from gear ratios/spacing not suited to a gas engine powerband.

Anyone got any solid knowledge of this engine? Looks like a hell of a option for those not needing a diesel, but a tad more than a half ton chassis wants.

Thanks for making me want a 17 gasser 250 even more! *shakes fist*
I keep looking at the Ford Transit with a 3.7v6 to keep it reasonable, but no 4x4 offered and a sticker price set up the way I want only 5k less than the super duty I want... Tough call.
Under 15 seconds in the quarter mile in a truck wieghing more than 6300lbs is nuts. Early 2000s v6 sedans were slower.

Default Are we missing something?

I was very excited to see the option at farm fest last year. After having a 6.0 liter Chevy then to my 5.4.... it leaves me wanting more. I thought the 6.2 would cause a stir too! But nope. Just crickets.... your guess is as good as mine
