I bought an Arizona Beige F150 so that i could drive it till i was 60 without problem, so when i replaced it i got a Caribou Brown F250 so that i could do the same with it. Golds and browns are timeless. My wife still isn't thrilled about the purchase but i have used it almost every day since i bought it.

I will only own charcoal gray or brown/beige trucks, and I'm only 38. They just look so good for so long. I love my magnetic metallic F250. Pulled the travel trailer for the first time today to get a slide topper installed. I knew it would tow better, but I had no idea how much better. I'm amazed. I was hitting 70mph with ease. The only thing that scared me was being too comfortable with the trailer behind me. After adjusting my wdh/sway bar, even better. I am so glad I bought this truck.

I just towed a 28' enclosed trailer to Ft Lauderdale and back. This truck passes cars from 65-85mph like it doesn't have a trailer attached. Impressive to say the least. I agree, i had planned on purchasing a charcoal truck again this round until i saw the Caribou color. It was love at first sight.

The caribou is beautiful. I love it... Especially with the lighter tan on bottom. It's a classic Ford truck color.

As for towing, I actually liked the camper 30 miles without any WDH pressure at all. It was all on the hitch. Sold pulled better than my F150 with WDH set up. After adjusting and setting up the WDH/sway bar on the new truck, I was cruising. I can't wait to take this thing camping next weekend now!

Nice trucks guys...Wife and I went today to look at a leftover '16 Lariat which was pretty well optioned out. It was sitting around since June of last year and after driving it I found it rode a little rough and noticed it had the snow plow heavier coils in the front. My eyes saw a beautiful '17 Lariat in the White Gold color and after driving it made a decent deal on it. We plan to pull our 5th wheel toyhauler with it instead of borrowing my son in laws F-250. Grandsons came over to look at it and gave me their approval!!

That is a beautiful 17, really like that color. I agree with you on the 16 with snow plow prep package being a rough ride. I drove one set up that way before buying mine and it was much rougher.

Thanks! Never even thought about buying a '17 but the '16 was pretty well loaded out and listed for about 1,500 more then the '17. The '17 rode smoother and has the 48 gal fuel tank and new body design so the wife talked me into the '17. The '16 showed a build date of 6-16 and for some reason its been sitting. Neither truck was factory set up for the 5th wheel pkg so I had the dealers truck shop order me the kit. I'll get the bed lined also and maybe some mud flaps for the rear. Only have 110 miles on it and I got the mpg up to 15.4 on the dash. Can't wait to see how she handles the 5th wheel compared to my son in laws F-250.

You will like it, mine was a very late build 16. It was ordered with GN prep and build was modified as Ford ran out of hitches. So the sticker actually shows the option, then a line for a credit. So I got the extra forged wheel package which I was told comes with the GN PREP(not sure though)and wiring socket in bed, but dealer put a BW hitch in which is what Ford uses anyway.

I get 13 to 14 around town and 18 or so highway, sometimes better, depends on my foot lol.
