That was my concern, whether or not we have the same unit as the F150. My truck bakes in the sun all day at work. Afternoon temps have been between 95-102 everyday since I bought it so I haven't been able to compare to cooler weather. I'd like to get uncomfortably cold though. Does your back cool?

Yes! The back does cool. It doesn't cool as well as the seat bottom but its worlds better than it was in my 2015 F-150. That said, as I said earlier it only works enough to keep me from sweating on hotter days and on cooler days it works great. I've had to turn it down a couple of times..
