I've moved up from my 2017 F150 Platinum to this beast. I'm going to be up sizing the travel trailer so something bigger was needed. I'll be sticking around because there is so much good information on here.
Payload was my exact question. Usually you want to go with a 350 with a diesel because the weight of the engine greatly reduces payload on a 250 to not much more than a 150.

100% agree - most people don’t realize this. I was looking at a 250 Lariat PS at my local dealer last weekend and the payload was only 2,110 lbs!! My 150 is 1,865 lbs - a measly 245 lbs difference.
Hopefully OP looked at and understood his payload prior to purchasing...

What a great truck! I recently did the same thing and traded in my 2012 5.0 150 screw for a 2019 6.7 250 crew with the 8ft bed. I do kind of miss the turning radius of the short 150, but otherwise, as far as towing goes, there really is no comparison.
When I was shopping to replace my 2016 F150XLT with 1964 lbs of payload every F250 Diesel only gave about 250-300 lbs more payload, 2200 vs 1964 lbs. I therefore bought a F350 Diesel CCSB with 3500 lbs of payload. You must look at the yellow sticker on the door post to see actual payload.
