Mud grappler or trail grappler
 

I'd like the mud grappler for looks mostly, and on amazon they actually are apparently the same price or slightly cheaper in the size I want. Now I was looking at the weight, and the mud tires were pretty heavy compared to the trails. My concern is which one will probably last longer, which one is better for hard packed extremely bumpy dirt roads, and decent for smooth as possible on pavement. Is there a huge difference in the mud grips and trail grappler m/t's, or is it small enough that can I reasonable justify buying the mud grips for looks sake?

My mud grapplers are rough with only 16k on them with a half ton,they are badass off road,slip and slide on wet pavement and the tread disappears faster than a cocaine buffet at lindsay lohans party.

I owned the trail grapplers and loved them! However, I have no comparison to the muds, because I've never owned both. But they held up great for the 2 years I had them, then I sold the truck all together :/

i ran trail grapplers on a 3/4 ram they were quiet in the cab and pulled the diesel pretty good. they had around 30k on them when I pulled em off. I ran mud grapplers on my f150 for a few month they were extremely loud and pulled good but I would have been lucky to get 15k out of them.

The place that was offering the price I wanted for the trail grapps only have 3 now, so I'm going with Toyo open country m/t's. Apparently they're one of the better tires based on reviews, so I'm getting those. Heavier and more expensive than I wanted, Like 505 a tire, but if they'll last, I'm ok with it.

What size? 40" toyos will cost me $2k mounted.

I was but I ended up getting a great job so I can afford it now. I also figured as soon as I dropped it I would probably want it lifted again. I can always just regear for more takeoff if I decided I wanted more
