Default More 6.0 problems!!!! Help needed

My dad has a 06 power stroke with about 135,000 miles on it. In 1 months time, he had to replace number 1 and 5 injectors and the turbo went out (he is now on his 3rd turbo).

When when accelerating, the truck reaches the upper part of the rpm's (when it should shift to the next gear) it won't and just kind of bogs down. You have to completely let off the throttle and come back into throttle for it to shift.

Anyone have thoughts what could be causing the issue? We were thinking there's another part of the turbo system that needs to be changed due to it not creating enough vacuum but were not entirely sure. After the dealer changed number 5 injector is when this accelerating problem started. It's going back to the dealer but just want an idea of what's wrong since we fell there aren't up to pat on diesels.

Try powerstrokeNation.com I'm sure they will have a way better insight then a f150 board.

Was this fixed at a ford dealer? Also have you checked the transmission fluid level?

The 6.0Ls have a external tranny filter as well as a filter in the pan. It's on the passenger side front frame rail!

Yea the tranny fluid was ok. Ford plugged the computer into the truck are we were able to test everything. It's amazing what they can test and see right from the computer. The turbo was shot and and had to replace all of the injectors. Only 1 injector was within spec but was very close to being out of spec. You can watch the injectors on a graph and see how they're supposed to be and how they are actually performing.

Truck runs great now but the wallet it's substantially lighter.
