I gave up on the idea of buying a Powerstroke F250 because of the ridiculously low usable payload of 3/4 tons truck with heavy diesel engines. For 500 extra $$ you get 1500lbs extra payload going with a full 1 ton that drives and look the same.
This is what I'm after but I guess I'll have to custom order it to get it like I want
Cheers

I should hope not!!
A truck that will haul/tow so much weight for tens or hundreds of thousands of miles rides like a man's truck.
It makes the F150 looks pathetic.
Why would you think a weak dying old man in a wheelchair could outroll a ripped 24 year old dude at a B-Ball game?

0.9% is for suckers!
The payload is an estimate, with almost nothing in the truck. The truck weighs between 7400-8200 ish lbs before you load it up. Most of the F250s are 10000 GVWR, F350s are 11100 i believe. Depending on ur options and what you have loaded in it, ur right, not much payload.
It's more of a tow than load vehicle unfortunately
