Depends on how much cash you add.

I've built a pretty sick 6.0L, started out as an '03 Lariat 6.0L, bone stock....

And then $25k and 565 HP later....

I'm on the fence about making my truck 500-600 RWHP, as opposed to buying a fast car and having the truck as a DD, but still like 450 RWHP. Just don't want to upgrade the fuel system, turbo, injectors, because price, but I do..

Honestly, I'd buy a fast car separately. I put a ton of money into that truck. I installed head studs and new OEM gaskets, new OEM Ford heads, EGR delete, 4" exhaust, AFE intake, Pusher intake elbow, AirDog 2, Full Force (Casserly) 190cc/75% injectors, PowerMax turbo, $1,200 worth of gauges, a million custom tunes, FICM programming, and a ton of exterior parts and miscellaneous upgrades. It was a beast, but I lost a lot of money when I sold it. I loved every minute of it, but it wasn't very financially sensible. Did I care? Nope. I could have bought an '03-'04 Terminator Cobra with $25k. But I have a passion for building sick rides.

On my 6.4L, I did most of my upgrades for reliability and MPG improvements. If I get in a bind and need to sell it cheap, I can easily return it to stock and get my money back out of it. No big deal.

I wouldn't mind a 6.4 or 6.7, but from what I hear, most everything is a cab off job. Used 13' GT500 in a year or two ;D?

6.4L isn't near as bad as the 6.7L. The 6.4L actually has a decent amount of room under the hood once you delete the EGR and the elbow that routes the gasses to the EGR. I would probably pull the cab to do studs, but most people pull the cabs to do studs on the 6.0L's too.

Now for the 6.7L, I have never seen so much stuff crammed in an engine bay.

2013 GT500? Ummm is that even a question? DUH.
