Gonna go test drive a 99' 7.3 today. Then pick up Forza 4.

Also one thing you need to do if your looking at buying a 7.3 is check for blow by. With the engine idling remove the oil fill cap and see if there is smoke coming out. If there some that's ok. If there is alot DON'T BUY IT.

Put something over it so hot oil doesn't fly everywhere? And too see exactly how much is being blown out

Oil won't fly everywhere if you take the fill cap off. And a good rule is to put the cap upside down on the full hole and if it doesn't feel like its blowing the cap off you should be ok. Just look for the least amount of smoke as possible.

Not at the moment. Just check the pinion seals and stuff. Also if going for 99 check to see if it's an early 99 or late 99.
