Anybody know where I can get a lesser expensive HCU for a 2003 E 350 5.4?? Ford wants over $1000.00 for the part alone.... Any help is appreciated.. Thanks Mud

 

Around my parts they have pull-a-part, it's a salvage yard that is nation wide and provides used parts at extremely discounted pricing, as an example a friend went to get a replacement stereo ($250 oem) and paid $12 so that's a possibility to look at.

But when it comes to the brakes on any vehicle, your life depends on it as well as anyone else on the roads you drive on, so please take your truck to someone trained to repair it and buy the right parts.

I would like to live another day.
