First thing, use the correct wheel. If not, please have great insurance. The benefit I see is that when the wheel comes off, it'll be harder for you to run from the accident location.
Second, decide between a lift, sawsall or both. Being on the cheap, the sawsall will be a better option. Open the fender to clear the tires. I imagine the major rubbing will come from contact with the leaf springs. Sure you can use blocks for the lift; however, that seems like an equivalent solution to "opening the lug nut holes".
