Default Help with 89 and 90 F350 VINs 5th 6th 7th digits

Hi guys, a little VIN trouble. Bought 2 trucks today, an 89 and a 90. they both have values showing up in the 5,6,7 digit spot that I'm having trouble identifying. If anybody can make sense of them, I'd appreciate the input.
here goes ;
First one is a 1989 F350 crewcab 4x4 auto with a 351. that shows W36

2nd one is a 1990 F350 reg cab 2WD auto incomplete vehicle with a 7.3 n/a. Pretty sure that has the 11,00 lb axle - 4th digit L for 14001 to 16000 lb GVWR. Anyway it shows F47 in the 5,6,7 positions.

I can't find either of those listed anywhere (I have looked). Any ideas ?

Here's what I saw:

http://www.vinnumbersearch.net/vin_n...el_information

W36 shows: Ford F-Series - F-350 - Crew Cab - 2WD - CA XL - Dual Rear Wheels

F47 shows: Ford F-Series - F-450 - Regular Cab - 4WD

Doesn't seem like it matches up to what you have though.

Not quite, no.
Maybe I just have some very interesting trucks here.
Can't wait to get them towed in and start finding out just what the hell I bought.
Old trucks are fun.
thanks for looking.
