Default F250 Payload information

Hello,

I am new to the forum and new to Ford SuperDuty so still in the learning stage. I’m looking to buy a 2024 F250, primarily for its towing capabilities. However I’m having trouble finding reliable payload information. Does anyone know a good source that can tell me payload for a specific build? I know about the Ford towing calculator online, but looks like I need an VIN for that. Also is there a resource to estimate payload based on options? For example, if I add a specific option or package to the build is there a way to estimate the impact on payload? I do understand that the more options the lower the payload, in general.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Its really hard to tell what the payload is because every single option affects it. For example... I have a 2013 F150 FX2, a friend of mine has the identical truck. My payload is 1413lbs and his is 1439lbs. The ONLY difference between the two trucks is my truck came with a factory installed spray in bed liner and his didn't. So even something as simple as a bed liner affects the payload capacity but 26lbs. May not seam like a lot but a couple options here and there can add up quick.

I have collected a list of the payload capacity between friends trucks.
23 F350 SRW - 3277lbs
23 F250 - 3203lbs
24 F250 - 2807lbs
19 F250 - 2251lbs

So as you can see there can be up to a 1000lb difference in capacity depending on options.

If you find a truck you like, look at the drivers door jam. There is a yellow sticker that tells you that trucks exact payload.

Thanks! I appreciate the info. I’m surprised a spray in bedliner would weight 26 pounds. Very interesting.

this don't mean the liner weighs 26 lbs it means it reduces the payload by 26 lbs. don't know how they come up with that.

Might have better luck joining and asking a superduty forum.

There are a lot of SRW F250's and F350's on the road that are exceeding their GVWR. You did not state what the intended use is other than towing.

It seems Ford would include CCC on the window sticker, especially on a SD, but they do not.
