My 2004 F250 Diesel Stops Running after 3 minutes. Change Solinoid. Still does it. ??

I am no expert on the 6.0 but this sounds like fuel pressure dropping out. Not to push another forum but go to powerstroke.org. You will get 6.0 answers there.

IDk about the 6.0s but on our 7.3 i was a bad cam shaft sensor, it would run for probably 3 min, shut off and not start back for a few hours or longer

Like the other posts said it could be a CPS (camshaft position sensor). I had similar issues with my 2002 F350 and it was the CPS but it has the 7.3 I'm not sure if the 6.0's had the CPS issues but I could be something to look into. Also may try looking at the IPR again I'm not real familar with the 6.0's but something to look into. http://www.thedieselstop.com/forums/ has a ton of info on Ford diesels and they do have several areas dedicated to the 6.0
