Default F-250 6.2L Gas Mileage

Considering the possibility of getting a new truck, and looking at a 2013 Regular Cab F-250. Not a huge deal, but what can i expect in terms of gas mileage with the regular cab gasser configuration? Thanks!

Just aweful haha. Gutless pigs too. Its so bad on fuel I'd pay the extra money for a diesel and then you still have way more resell when your done with it

I was debating a new F-250 CrewCab 4x4 with a 6.2L and the 4.30 gears (planned on putting 35's or 37's under it, thus the steep gear option). But I know even with the gears it'll be a gutless pig that averages 10 mpg ***** footing it, so if I go down the F-250 route, I'll pony up for the added costs associated with the Powerstroke and diesel fuel..

If anyone still cares, this:

The only superduty worth getting is the 6.7, unless you are going to be running it empty most of the time, have a VERY light foot and be driving all country roads.

My son's 2011 F350 SCrew 6.7 diesel with 8 foot bed has gotten up to 26 MPG on the highway (Baltimore to Norfolk). Part of the reason is the 3.31 gear setup. However, when I towed my 6000 lb John Deere tractor with it, it still got 14 MPG in the Pennsylvania hills. I'm trading up from a F150 SCrew ecoboost to the 2015 F250 diesel at the first opportunity.
