Could someone with knowledge explain to me what is meant when guys say they do the exhaust delete with an after market exhaust system on 6.7 PS. I am torn on my next truck being a diesel but really don't want the added cost of adding fluid every 5k just a to have one. My ecoboost tows my Rv fine but just was toying with the idea. Any info would be great!!

That was the Diesel Particulate Filter off my 2012 6.7psd. You unhook everything from that section of exhaust (def injection), remove it, and replace it with a straight piece of exhaust piping. You then have to run an aftermarket tuner for the truck to run.
I've heard of people punching out the honeycomb material in the dpf and leaving that section on the truck but personally I didn't like that route.

But really, its about 20-30$ every 8-10,000 miles to fill the def. If that's a financial burden then I'm not sure you will want to spend about $2,000(assuming you go minimax tuner) upfront to delete the DPF.

Does the refilling depend on driving style or is around those miles no matter what
