Thanks! We are hoping to make it out west in the next couple years before the kids get too big. We are wanting to see the Grand Canyon and a few other places

What do you do for income while full time camping?

We're not actually full time camping (I wish). I'm a Regional Sales Manager and my wife works remotely for a company based in San Francisco.

Since we both can work remotely (between traveling for work) we try our best to work from places that have great scenery.

Great pictures, it's nice to see the progression and memories over the years. Also good to see another loyal Ford fan. I've always been a liked the Weekend Warrior brand as a well.

Where is the beach camping?

Ok, I'll play!!!

Started out by renting a small TT several times for local trips to get our feet wet with towing and camping:

Went out and bought a new truck to jump in head first. Thought I was buying "enough" rig when I got an F150 max tow (hence the max tow). Then based our trailer selection on what the truck could realistically tow, making a compromise in desired trailer to a smaller unit that fit within the tow abilities of the half ton. Later upgraded the hell out of the F150 to help manage the load including bags, tires, fancy WD hitch, etc. Towed this setup for 2 years:

Family really enjoys "Glamping" so it was clear I needed to start planning for upgrades. First thing first the F150 had to go as it was the limiting factor; insert F350 SRW diesel (again thinking I bought enough truck!). With more truck comes ability to haul more stuff so both the trailer and bed became more loaded down each trip out:

...and finally upgraded the trailer to a Toy Hauler fifth wheel. Now everything is contained within the trailer and the truck is freed back up to towing and people moving only. Have started to upgrade the truck to help manage the load including bags, tires, etc.. See a pattern here

Will be interesting to revisit this thread in another couple years and see how things have change

I am still at the bumper pull travel trailer stage. Not yet up to fifth wheel toy hauler. I am interested to know what brand golf cart fit in the bed of your super duty. Thanks.

Me and the wife and kids tent camped for 17 yrs. Then we bought this:

It's more like a cottage, but it does have wheels and a hitch although you need a permit to tow it on the road.
