Because I don't want to have to deal with airing up or down, and when empty the RAS will give a better ride, also airbags don't correct for sagging springs, the RAS enhances the spring pack, working directly with it. I may still add airbags after I see how it tows, but the biggest issue I had was the banging and clunking and humping which was due to the weakened springs. Right now the ride has been quite improved over what it was and the thumping is gone from the overloads hitting the bump stops.

Gotcha. We have air lift 7500s on our f350 DRW and even when towing 30,000 pounds the truck sits off the overloads. Ride has improved significantly since installing the airbags too. Ive never seen the RAS until this post. They look pretty cool and a lot easier to install than air bags lol

That's one of the reasons I loved my '17 F350 Platinum PS CCSB 4X4: It looked damn near leveled from the factory.

Hardest part is torqueing the U-bolts to 198 ftlbs. I forgot they are one and done too so I pretty much have to start over again, but I also need to replace the shocks too so will have it up anyway.
