another 6.7 turbo bites the dust.
Lost mine on my second track run Friday night. My first pass with a soft launch on tow tune was 14.7. Woke up Saturday morning and started calling all over the country for a another turbo and located ONE in Phoenix, Arizona. Drove there and drove home in 8 hours. Will likely replace the turbo tonight. Look at this ugly sob...

14.7 is what my eco ran bone stock launching as hard as I could. The night I ran that It weighed in at 6220 with the wife aboard.
I weighed the diesel a week ago and checked in at 8130 no wife. Fat bastard of a truck!

I wonder if its a lubrication problem or maybe it's like you said the bearings are just too small. I wonder if that dual-compressor wheel put extra side-load on the bearings. Turbo's seem like the Achilles heel of the Scorpion. Maybe you should Upgrade to a set of Industrial Injection compounds!

Sorry to hear. Sounds like you are all over it though.
I'm just starting to lean towards a F250 with the 6.7 for my next truck. Are the turbos the main issue with these engines? What kind of fuel mileage do these things get?
