I'm trying to find out if my 04 F250 5.4 is a 3valve or 2 valve. Whats the easiest way to tell?

Not positive, but I thought the 3 valve came out in '05 or '06. I'd bet its a 2 valve. That was 260HP, and the 3 valve is 300.

Just checked. The 3 valve came out in '05. You have a 2 valve. 260HP, and 355 FtLb. torque.

Half correct. The 3V came out in '04 for the F150, but was not used in the Super Duty trucks until '05.
