99 F350 Window electrical trouble - AC
 

I have a 99 F350 with the 7.3. 400+ miles and going strong.

recently, we have had some weird electrical issues.

1) Power windows - Driver side power windows likes to go down, but not up... If we turn off the AC, it will go up... Just today, we had to turn the ac off, then on, then it started to go up, then we turned the AC off and it finished going up.


2) MAX AC doesnt work. Sometimes the AC doesnt work at all. 9 out of 10 times regular AC works but if you turn it to MAX it just stays the same or even turns off completely sometimes.

Wish there was an easy answer. On the surface it sounds like you've got a wiring problem somewhere. Of course it might just be the window motor going out where turning off the air conditioner frees up some extra voltage to get the window motor to move. Either way, you've got some testing and diagnosing to do.
