Default 96 f-350 dually, opinons

the 96 350 to me is the ultimate of trucks. i love that body style, the legendary 7.3 diesel, and all the bells and whistles. i have a slight opportunity to get one maybe (the dealer hasnt called me back) its a 96 f-350 dually with the centaurus conversion (my exact dream truck). i just need opinions on what ppl think i should do. yeah ive always wanted one but when it comes down to it, they are old, driven alot, and been thru alot im sure.

the one im looking at has 240k miles, averages out to about 13,000ish miles a year, so not to bad, ive seen way worse. the exterior is perfect, and i do mean perfect, there arent even any dents on the top of the tail gate like you see on most older trucks. the interior is immaculate and looks brand new. im sure the seats and door panels are all replaced because the material on them looks custom. the dealer selling it wants 5995 for it. ill upload a pic of the outside of it

any opinions and thoughts would be helpful.

Love em. Sure is alot of miles. But then again not so bad cuz its a 7.3. I'd check it out. Longer you wait, the less of the trucks you find in decent shape

yeah i kno, their bloody hard to find in the first place, much less find one in good condition. i use to see these things driving up and down the roads everyday, now its only a few times a month. if it comes down to it ill buy it and throw a few k's into the mechanicals of it to fix/replace anything and have a good truck for a long time. even doing that its still about 4k cheaper then my current 150 i have

It looks like a nice truck. Biggest thing to watch out for on those centurions is the wiring (they love to butt splice things instead of do things right). Go for it and just fix some of the wiring they have.

Put on the largest (make that 2 in series) tranny coolers you can. Only thing I can think of with the older style like that, otherwise awesome truck.
