My dad has a 06 f250 super duty 5.4 8'bed 4door 4x2

It just randomly cuts off mostly when changing from forward to reverse but sometimes even when were driving it

The other day I was about 40 in thick traffic and it just cut off luckily I remembered you can start it back up in neutral

It did it one or twice and my dad brought it to the dealer for a complete tune up and I think it's doing it more now

Any thing to try

 

Fuel filters. I know if a powerstroke was cutting out, I would go straight to the fuel filters.
