Default 2018+ Super Duty Sport Package

This isn't a question, more so a gripe. I hope Ford reps combing these forums see this and take it back up their food chain.. If Ford spends any time on social media, they would see how many people are painting all the obnoxious chrome on their super duties. Just look at Instagram... The chrome bumpers and grilles on these trucks are huge. To people that aren't into chrome, its a huge turn off.. myself included. If Ford offered a 'sport' package (similar to the F150) where they had color matched bumpers, mirror caps and door handles, and a 'blacked out' magnetic colored grille and blacked out headlights...I would trade my 150 in tomorrow... #noteveryoneloveschrome!

Ford..I hope you're listening..even though I know nothing will ever come from this, this would be a nice 2019 model year 'face lift' or added package. Working in the Auto industry, I know it wouldn't increase manufacturing costs all that much. Even if it did, these trucks are already over $65K if you get a Lariat, you'd pass any added cost
along to us poor consumers anyway...

Both still have an ungodly amount of chrome... I'm talking just a stand-alone Sport package on the XLT and Lariat.. It really wouldn't take much short of another grille option. They already have painted handles, mirror caps and bumpers on the assembly lines for the KR and Platinum.

I totally agree with you. And include a shifter on the console. All that chrome is ugly as hell.

Yes...a sport package would be great! Ford should also bring back some unique editions. Amarillo, Lariat Outlaw, Cabela’s, H-D... I’m not sure if it was a factory edition, but in 2008, there was a Stampede Edition - such a cool looking truck.

I happen to think Ford puts the right amount of chrome on their trucks.

Some people would rather go homeless then chromeless!!

Bought mine off the dealers lot so it had the chrome package on it. A lot easier to keep the front clean of the love bugs we get down here! My last two trucks had painted bumpers and they would eat the paint off if left on for a few days.

I think the chrome goes well with some packages and colors, and people who like chrome are entitled to that opinion. I just think a sport package on these trucks would look great! They used to offer it and GM and Ram both offer something similar in their HD trucks... It's honestly one of the only things stopping me from buying one..

Nothing stopping you from doing it on your own. Mine was my own 800hp version of a sport. (More of a super sport) lol
