How do you think a 2.7 or 3.5 Ecoboost would do towing 2500-3500lbs of lawn care equipment 5 days a week? Would the 2.7 get the job done and last me a while, or should I lean more towards the 3.5?
The Ecoboost is a strong little engine. My dad has the 3.5L in his 2012 F150 Platinum and he uses it to tow around his 8' lawn trailer as well as his 5,000 lb travel trailer. It has some difficulty on lots of hills with the TT but mostly with figuring out the right RPM/shift point, not with power to accelerate.
