Default Ex 150 lover... NOW a F250 lover!

Got rid of the old F150 today, well actually wasn't that old it was a 2013.
Picked up a 2016 Crewcab F250 XLT gasser. MSRP on the truck $49,835, Ford rebates $4750, dealer discount $6090. Price of truck $38,995

Think that's a good deal LOL

I constantly pulling a 7200 pound trailer and my F150 eco-boost wasn't cutting it.
It pulled the trailer don't get me wrong but I could definitely feel the truck straining a lot to do it.
I guess the truck would be good to tow that much weight once or twice a month if you're towing a boat to the lake but not several times a week.

Straining payload wise or engine wise?

Great looking truck! I'll always have a soft spot for the F250/350/450. I drive a 2015 F450 ambulance at my volunteer job and I used to have a 2011 F250 6.7 SRW and loved it. I just don't tow much, so the 6.7 was an overkill for me. Excellent choice!

No joke! My 29 ft bunkhouse could be pulled by my 2012 f150 with 5.0, but it was about all it wanted to do it. My 250 gasser does it so much easier. Like night and day difference. Congrats on getting a good price on the right tool for the job.

Good call. Plus, imo, the superdutys are always the best looking trucks on the road.
