I went from a 13' F150 with the ecoboost to a 15' F350 PSD. I ended up doing more towing then I expected and the little F150 wasn't up for the task. While towing, the F350 is awesome! All other times I wish I still had the F150...

I traded my 2012 5.0 Screw for a new 2015 F250 XLT FX4 6.2 a month ago, found it at a small, local dealer. Nicely equipped with the XLT premium package and flow-through console. Best part was 10K off MSRP including rebates

Our TT weighs about 8500# loaded and the payload just wasn't there in the F150. We squeaked by for two years towing it with the F150 and it was getting old.

I will say I was very happy with with the 5.0, strictly a payload issue and it never really felt safe pulling the trailer with that truck.

Obligatory crappy iPhone pic-

Have you seen the prices for routine maintenance/service on the 6.7? And the fact that many repairs require the cab to pulled. If you were to invest that much into a gasser, you can get the same longevity with less hassel, if you're not towing daily or using it in a commercial application

Did a exact repeat camping trip this past week but this time w/my 16F350 6.2L 4.30 gears.
The results were better than I was expecting, the F350 towed my toyhauler easy, never even sweated, never saw 3rd or 2rd or 1st gears, stayed mostly in 5th and 6th overdrives, 4th gear a few times on the 2 steeper climbs and even then the rpm's were never higher that 4K. Compared with my then 14F150 5.0L 3.55 gears and screaming high rpm's and never getting higher than 3rd gear, it was a real nice towing experience with the 6.2L F350.

Same Toyhauler, recently I took both sides and the front decals off before the Southwest Sun ruined them.

It is a Livin-Lite Bearcat FK16BC.
it is a aluminum built trailer, no wood floors/no wood frame/no wood inside at all. Fully self-contained, options include a 9200BTU A/C, fantastic exhaust Fan, 2 more exhaust fans, 5.5cuft frig w/freezer, Convection/micro oven, awing, roll-down rear bug screen, 24" LED TV-DVD w/power-boost HD antennal.
It is a Off-road Trailer that sets a little higher compared to the VRV Livin-lites, has off road 14" BFGoodrich All-terrain T/A Tires. Tons of storage inside, the pop-out tent bed supports 1100 pounds(easy 5 minute setup/takedown), has a sofa that folds out to a bed (extremely comfortable). Two windows have shades and bug screens
I picked up 3 carpets from Wal-Mart for the floor coverings, fasten down with velcour, easy removal for hosing out the entire floor space.
I load a '12 BF750 in the cargo area.

The PSD motor really varies on mpg depending on driving conditions and empty vs towing. I'll get 16~18mpg on extended highway driving empty but average 13/14 for around town. Towing ranges from 10-12mpg on average.

I got rid of my 1980 f150 because I hated the (independent) front axle. got a used 1990 Toyota truck. I gave that to my son when I bought a 2005 tundra. I just traded it with 75000 miles, nothing ever went wrong with it but rust. My son just rebuilt the 1990 truck and he told me rust loves Toyota. I went back to f150 ,2019 xlt 302a 5.0 4x4. real nice truck. still under 500 miles.
