That's about the only way. Ordering for 15s have stopped though, and there won't be the kind of deals I'm seeing on the 16s when they first come out

I wanna trade my '12 (return it to stock) for a '16, but they want $22k for the upgrade. Just not happening. I told them I'd go $15k, but that's it. They haven't bit yet. Supposedly the sales guy will call me when the Memorial day rebates get posted and it may happen then. Silly bank is offering 2% loans so my pmy while it would go on longer would go down.

The differences are pretty minor, but the '15 got the bigger turbo and more fuel. The '13 got bigger brakes. One touch up and down windows. A different stereo.

That's about all I can remember. Really not a whole lot of stuff even if I could do $15k.

Compared to keeping mine and dumping a couple $k into it...oh, I don't know.

One thing that's a big neg is the minimax won't work with the '15/16 trucks and I really like my mini. All my other stuff will transfer right over.

What's really sucking is that I need to install the 50gal fuel tank that's been sitting in my shop for 2 months, some airbags and traction bars to tow the big hauler. Right now all that's in a holding pattern waiting for the dealer to make up their mind if they want my $15k.

I hear you, that's what they told me too was about 23 to boot to go from my 14 f150 xlt to a new SD lariat. So that isn't worth it to me yet as a the halfton pulls my camper fine and I rarely pull my heavier trailer. So I'll go another 30,000 miles and see what they offer when I'm closer to that 60,000 mile mark. I can get a 15 xlt f250 6.7 with 18k miles on it for $10 to boot...tempting but it doesn't have a backup camera or anything so its a stripped down xlt compared to my fully loaded one and I really like the creature comforts and want more

If I could find a 14/15 250/350 lariat new or very low miles for that 10k to boot I'd do it in a heartbeat I think... But that isn't happening and none of my extras will transfer to the superduty which really sucks

I'd try and hold out for a 15/16. The new turbo and stuff makes it worth it. Truck flat out hauls ***. Which of course isn't a huge deal, but the exhaust brake and such actually works if you plan on ever hauling lol

I agree, there should be some good deals on 15s once 16s hit the lot in a few months or whenever. I know I'm not a fan of the 17s body style change

Man I was in the same boat as you.. the dealer wasnt giving me enough for my old truck to give me the difference I needed to keep in my payment range. I Decided to go with a 2012 w 35k miles and just make sure the extended warranty was covered on the truck. I am so blown away by this truck it amazes me what a difference in power this truck has. I ended up selling my 2008 f150 4x4 stx for 18k 2 weeks after putting it on craigslist. I plan to keep this truck for a long time. Good luck on your find!

Thanks ballin, I drove over 3 hours last weekend to look at 4 12-14s two 12s had around 20k and the 14 had paint wore through on the cab by the tonue cover rolled up when driving. I couldn't get into the 12s they were 250s lariats and asking 46 a piece, crew cab 4x4, just had some wear that shouldn't have been there with 20k threw up to many red flags for my instincts so I didn't even try to wheel and deal.

Be patient and you'll find one for sure. There's always a deal out there. I see people finding absolutely crazy numbers sometimes lol
