My dad has the above mentioned truck. He came from a 1999 V10 to this so he is a little bummed with the power of the truck. Are the gains and drive ability increased with this truck and power plant to make it a worthwhile purchase? I know the gains and performance with the EcoBoost are insane and just a custom 87 tune can make a night and day difference in the truck, any comparison with the 6.2 in the super duty?

I would most likely recommend 5star with the SCT device, but am open to any and all suggestions.

5star is about the only player in regards to non-diesel superdutys, on other forums. v10s, 5.4s, and 6.2s. I imagine he's a solid bet.
