Default 1999 7.3 lifted

I might be buying a 1999 f350 7.3 powerstroke. It has a 8" lift with 42" mud tires, chipped, programmer, after market turbo, HD front bumper. It's 4x4with 193xxx km on it. The guy says he gets 600-800 miles on a single tank on highway when programmed on pulling. How many MPG is it really?

My 02 short bed have a 26 gallon tank, two wheel drive supercab auto would get 20 at best on hi way. I have a buddy with a similar setup to what you are looking at and it gets about 14 on the hi way with 37s.

So basically on highway I could be looking at 20-25 mpg on highway in tow mode? That's if this guy is telling truth about the 600-800 per tank.
