+17 Front License plate removal?
 

I've seen a few trucks on these forums with no front license plate bracket. I like a clean looking front truck and wanted to know if anyone had tried to remove the front plate bracket and how did you do it?

If it's the same as my '11 and '06 then the bottom just molds tightly around the bumper and the top is held in with a push clip. Just push the tabs on the top then you should be able to pull it off.

Before removing your front plate, is it legal in your state?

Thanks for the info. I was able to snag it off. Had to do a little crawling around to figure how it was attached. As for the license plate thing, I like a clean looking front vehicle. However, I do register my vehicles out of state and have never had a problem.

I am looking to put an LED bar in there, fill the gap and throw some light on these country roads up here in ND.
