Hello guys, new here to the powerstroke family and have a couple of question hopefully that can be answered. 1, what's the interval for the def fluid? I drive mostly unloaded and around town tow only in summer and its a 26 ft Rv. 2 is there a way to tell how much fluid there is at any given time? My wife has the new ecodiesel and it will tell you 80%,70% etc.3 is there a break in time with this motor as far as towing or just in general this I hear is a big debate so any input would be great!! Thanks a lot

the DEF the dealer(who whoever services the truck) should top off the tank

and if it starts to get low you will get a message on the screen..fill it up then or the truck will go into fail safe mode

I suggest you check out www.powerstroke.org and join up over there as well if you haven't already. I was a member there when I had my Powerstroke and there are a lot of good guys with a plethora of information.

Good luck!
