If you didn't put a tune to adjust for the DPF delete, the light will stay on and will be going into regen a LOT too and fuel mileage will plummet. And tuners for the dpf deleted 6.4 aren't as easy to come by anymore as the EPA cracked down on tuning brands making them about year and half ago. For SCT, you need the 3015 R or older Livewire 9625 OR specifically for the 6.4.

Dpf delete 6.4 tuner and cheap usually just aren't in the same sentence. Lol just being honest. Sometimes you can score a used unlocked one off a forum but still looking at $700 plus usually even for a used one

So I put the dpf back on.... I put a new exhaust sensor on also.... Now the check engine light stays on... I took it to the ford dealer and they cleared the code, I got 2 miles up the road and it came back on.... What is the deal ? .... I think it is stuck in regen mode, my fuel mileage is way down.... Any thoughts or ideas??... Let me know...

Sounds like its in regen but if you put the dpf back on and had the factory tune reloaded, it should be back to stock setting and fuel mileage. What code are you getting?

Ok, got that fixed.. It was the plug to the dpf sensor, one of the terminals was bent over , so I straightened it and plugged it back in and it's all good now.....

The truck has been running good for the past week or so, yesterday morning I start it up and drive to town and the truck barely had any power. It was very weird... I could have the accel pedal to the floor and I was only going prob 20 mph.... So just for giggles I stopped on the side of the road and shut off the truck and let it sit for a minute and restarted it and now it seems fine... It's runs like new..... What could have caused that ??... Any ideas ??.... Let me know thanks
